This is our dedicated technique and form program built to help you level up your skills, sharpen your combos, and get even more confident on the mats. In Mitts and Kicks, you'll: Work closely with a coach and partner for focused, hands-on training. Use pads and other kickboxing tools to improve accuracy, power, and speed. Clean up your technique and form so you get more out of every regular class. This is the perfect add-on if you want that extra edge, more one-on-one attention, and a fun, high-energy way to push your skills to the next level. Train with Coach Joshua Applewhite You'll be training under Coach Joshua Applewhite, who began his journey in combat sports through boxing in high school and later expanded into kickboxing and grappling at a mixed martial arts gym in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Over the years, he has taught boxing-for-self-defense programs across multiple New York City schools, helping students build confidence, awareness, and real-world fighting fundamentals through structured, technical training.
