1. Show Up 15 Minutes Early for Orientation

Arriving 15 minutes before your kickboxing class is crucial. This is when we conduct an orientation where the class instructor will introduce you to the basic punches and kicks you’ll be working on. These helpful hints and demonstrations will set you up for success, ensuring you can jump right into the workout with confidence.
2. Bring Your Own Boxing Gloves and Wraps

Gloves and wraps are essential for protecting your hands and wrists during those high-energy sessions. For those wondering what size to get, a helpful hint is to purchase 12oz gloves for smaller adult hands and 14oz for normal-sized hands. This will provide the best balance of protection and performance for our kickboxing classes.
3. Don’t Forget Your Water Bottle and Towel
Trust me, you’re going to work up a sweat!
Staying hydrated is key to maintaining your energy levels throughout the session, so make sure to bring a water bottle. A towel is also a must-have—you’re going to need it. Both these items will keep you comfortable and focused on what really matters: kicking and punching your way to fitness!
4. Wear Clean Indoor Sneakers
While kickboxing might sometimes conjure images of bare feet in the movies, at CKO Kickboxing, we train in sneakers.
